Journey to Peace: A Voice Over Session with Buddhist monk Geshe La for the renowned resort brand Aman

Source: https://www.aman.com/

Aman, one of the most intuitive and pioneering resort, hotel and residence brand in the world released a short format film reflecting the brand´s foundation of peace and balance called ¨Journey to Peace¨ featuring Buddhist monk Geshe La, which is one of the very few Bon spiritual masters and former disciple of the 14th Dalai Lama. Here at Green Road Recording Studio we had the amazing opportunity to receive Geshe La and record his calm and relaxing voice for this short film accomplished by media production company Jagat.

Geshe La and our Chief Engineer Federico Hencker

¨There are sessions that you´ll always remember, having Geshe La at the studio was one of those sessions. I think it was the energy I felt from him, a really good and relaxing one. I would have never guessed that I would be working with a Buddhist monk, but Hey! That´s what makes Green Road Recording Studio so great!. I never know who will be my next guest¨

Federico Hencker

Our session was commissioned by Australian production company Extra Mile Pictures, now rebranded as Jagat. They sent us the short format film so we can use it as a reference while recording Geshe La. For this session we use our AKG C12VR microphone in order to capture the soft voice from our guest.
