The Body Copy, Victoria´s B.C rock band new EP
The EP was accomplished remotely in our studio with the collaboration of our producer Charles Price who took care of the production of the 3 songs, instrument recording for some sections, music arrangements and the drum performances of Marcos Novoa, Costarican drummer for 2 of the songs ¨I Pour Myself Out¨ and ¨Up the Coast¨. The mix of the 3 songs were worked by our chief engineer Federico Hencker and the mastering was worked by Prodigy Music Group in Canada.

We were able to record the drummer in our studio, transmitting the drummer performance in real time through zoom with the help of the new Pro Tools Ultimate I/O audio bridge and our 4K Logitec Brio webcam, that way the band was in complete control of what we recorded in real time and they were able to approve the takes provided by the drummer.

Flexibility and adaptation always plays a major role in our industry, specially after Covid we were able to learn how to use remote tools and implement those within our workflow to guarantee competition of the projects we got commissioned by our international customers.Tools like Source Connect, ProTools I/O audio bridge, Telegram among others help us to explore new possibilities.
